Located on the North Side of the Harbour on McMahons Point, it is a 7 minute ferry ride to Circular Quay and the bustling city centre. Buses from Circular Quay travel up Oxford Street on their way to the southern beaches. Naturally a walk from the Quay to the Oxford Street is possible but would be a 40 minute effort. Harbourside Apartments are a good Sydney hotel option if would like to experience the Sydney-sider's view of Australia's favourite city - rather than being immersed in the gay lifestyle of Darlinghurst and Surry Hills.
