ECO WHALE WATCHING TOURS SYDNEY

DESCRIPTION:

Every year from late May until early August and from mid September to November, about 6000 whales migrate along the Australian coastline to their feeding and breeding grounds. Eco Whale watching tours will take you there on a fully skippered luxury yacht beyond the headlands of Sydney Harbour for a 3.5 hour experience that is simply breathtaking. The Tour caters for small groups only, to make the experience more of a personal one.

Harbour Jet – Sydney Australia is Sydney’s original jet boat Adventure Company and has been in operation since April 2000.

It was established subsequent to independent research results that indicated the need for a new type of water-based tourist attraction on Sydney Harbour -- other than ‘tea and scone’ cruises --  to meet the needs of the more adventurous types visiting Sydney was begun.

Harbour Jet currently operates three vessels, the original -- designed and built (Nov 1999) specifically for Sydney Harbour conditions -- is an 18 seat 420-hp jet boat, a smaller 12-seat, 315hp jet boat and recently (Nov 04) a new custom, designed 25-seat twin-engine jet boat.

The company offers three different rides from 35 minutes to 80 minutes throughout Sydney and Middle Harbour; all encompassing 75km/h jet boating manoeuvres of 270-degree spins, power brake stops and fishtails. Harbour Jet’s signatory ride, the 50-minute Sydney Harbour Adventure, allows passengers to not only discover the magic of Sydney and its key Harbour icons, while receiving light-hearted commentary and photo opportunities, but also to experience the amazing capabilities of a Jet Boat.

Fitted with awesome stereo systems a continual mix of music keeps the Jet Boats Rockin! A great day out is guaranteed all year round with Harbour Jet’s wet weather canopy and the provision of full-length spray jackets, dry pants and goggles. Skippers are fully qualified to Master Class V, and individual bucket seats (the first of its kind in a jetboat) and safety handrails have been fitted to all vessels to maximise the comfort and safety of passengers.

 SYDNEY SKYDIVERS

DESCRIPTION:

Sydney Skydivers have the only self-contained, purpose built Skydiving Centre in Sydney, and the shortest drive by car in Sydney. Our Skydiving Centre has it's own private Airfield and facilities all within a short drive from the Sydney City CBD. Sydney Skydivers have been in operation for 40 years and their chief instructor is Australia's most experienced skydiver (over 22 000 jumps)

Sydney Skydivers provide free bus transfers to and from the Skydiving Centre

The Jet turbine skydive aircraft flies to a jump altitude of up to 14,000ft, from there you will get up to 50 seconds of freefall and a 5min Parachute ride. This altitude is the maximum allowable in Australia
Have one of the Freefall Cameraman accompany you on your jump and take a video and a roll of 24 photo's.

Sydney Skydivers provide a separate skydiving cameraman who jumps with you. You will get your own separate skydiving cameraman for a video (or DVD) and a roll of film from a separate stills camera

The purpose built skydiving centre allows you to landing right next to your friends and family. You are right next to your starting point, right next to the car park where you drove in, right next to where you take off in the Aircraft and where you land.

The canteen is open for Breakfast and Lunches on weekends and public holidays, you can also use the free gas BBQ and picnic area, as well as the snack and drink machines.

Mon-Fri the canteen is normally not open, however there are drink and snack machines available, as well as the BBQ and picnic area.

The town of Picton is a short 15min drive from the skydiving centre, there are many coffee shops and take away food outlets as well as 2 pubs for counter lunches.
