The Southern Star is part of the official "Harbour of Lights Parade" - a flotilla of decked out vessels that sail the main causeway of Sydney Harbour during the fireworks display on New Year Eve, themselves becoming part of the festivities.
As with each previous New Year Eve, all vantage points around Sydney Harbour that offer anything of a view of the New Year Eve fireworks will be packed with revellers.

What your Harbour Cruise on
New Years Eve will consist of:
- 6 exciting hours aboard the Cruising Glass Ballroom of the Star Ship Sydney
- Your choice of enticing Cocktail menu and sumptuous food stalls for the duration of the cruise
- Enjoy an Open Bar with a wide selection of beverages served throughout the evening including Seppelts Stony Creek Chardonnay & Shiraz Cabernet. and Killawarra brut Champagne. Beers on offer include VB, Carlton Cold, Cascade Lite and of course a wide selection of soft drinks are available.
- Dance along with the live 6-piece band - the Jelly Bean Jam who will get the party started and keep you revelling all night long with their extensive repertoire.
- Night long dancing and Light Show Parade
- Experience prime viewing of the spectacular Sydney New Year Eve fireworks display at 9:00pm and of course the much anticipated midnight fireworks display from the Exclusion Zone (Only invited vessels are allowed in this part of Sydney Harbour).
- The Vessel may not be side on to the Harbour Bridge during fireworks display to ensure the stability of the boat.

Terms and Conditions
- Dress code for this cruise is smart casual - no T shirts or jeans.
- A Credit Card fee applies - 2% for Visa and MasterCard, 4% for Amex and Diners no fee for Electronic Funds Transfer.
- No reserved seating is supplied as this is a cocktail style cruise.
- Guests must have a voucher and photo ID to board.
- Full payment is required at time of booking and all sales are final with no refunds available.
- Cruise program subject to change and schedule may be affected by delay due to harbour traffic and delay at wharves.
- The cruise will depart on time and will not wait for late guests.
- No refund will be offered if guests miss departure
- In the unlikely event that fireworks are cancelled by the Waterways Authorities due to adverse weather or other factors, the cruise organisers and M-Power Accommodation will not be liable and no refunds will apply.
