  • Breakfast: Breakfast is not provided but there is a Cafe close by. The Menu is provided in the apartments.
  • Non-Smoking: All Meriton apartments are non-smoking. All apartments have a balcony.
  • Property Facilities: 24h Reception, 24hr security, Security room keys, Lift/elevator, All rooms are non-smoking.
  • Apartments Feature: Air conditioning; Balcony; Bath; Broadband Internet access; CD player; Cable TV; Fax/modem telephone line; Hairdryer; In-house movies; Ironing equipment; Opening windows; Self catering (full kitchen); Tea/coffee making. Studio Apartments share an external laundry. All One and Two Bedroom Apartments (except a small number) have and internal laundry.
  • Bathrooms The Two and Three Bedroom Apartments have two bathrooms, and Studio and One Bedroom Apartments have one.
  • Internet: Wireless high speed internet is available at extra cost.
  • Hotel Bond: Without the credit card of a staying guest, or the authorised use of a 'third party' (someone else's) credit card being held as guarantee against damage and incidentals, a cash Bond of A$500/night may be required prior to keys being given upon check-in. If you have secured your own reservation with your own credit card then this will be held as guarantee against damage and incidentals, and no cash bond will be required.

New Year Eve Booking and Cancellation Policy:

  • For stays that include any of the nights - 29th, 30th, 31st December, 2012 and 1st, 2nd January, 2013 a 3 night minimum stay applies.
  • Two charges will be made at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Firstly, a 10% non-refundable deposit of the Total booking cost will be charged. This amount is not refundable or transferrable if the booking is cancelled, shortened or changed.
  • Secondly, the remaining 90% balance of the 31st December will also be charged at time of booking.
  • Charges made with Visa, Mastercard or EFT will incur no credit card fee. Charges made with American Express or Diners Cards will incur a service fee of 4%
  • Cancellation made more than 91 days prier to booked arrival date will forfeit the 10% deposit.
  • Cancellation or shortening or change of stay within 90 days of booked arrival will also forfeit the 90% cost of any of the night 29th, 30th, 31st December, 2012 and 1st, 2nd January, 2013 - that have been booked.
  • A contract of stay will be provided to obtain your acceptance of these conditions, and must be returned to for the booking to progress.
  • M-Power strongly recommends Travel Insurance to cover any losses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • By making a booking it is understood that this policy has been accepted.

The 4 star Hyde Park Inn budget hotel offers family accommodation with views of Sydney Hyde Park. The 92-room property is in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District across from beautiful Hyde Park, and only a few minutes to Oxford Street. This property offers a great combination of location, price and facilities. A short walk to Darling Harbour, Queen Victoria Building, China Town and a leisurely stroll to The Opera House, Rocks and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

MINIMUM STAY: For stays from 28th December, 2011 to the 6th January, 2012 (inclusive) there is a 5 Night minimum stay for Standard and Deluxe rooms AND A 7 Night minimum stay for Family Rooms and Apartments. The higher rate applies to the minimum nights and the discounted rate applies for stays longer then the minimum nights.
